As mentioned, B1 ni asyik dok on and off demam aje, for about 2 month dah now. Went to the panel clinic, and always get the same answer, antibody tak kuat, immune system tak kuat. At first I just go with the flow, and tried to increase antibodynya. Giving her spirulina, Scotts Emulsion, Vit C and fruits. But still dia dok demam. So the last time dia demam was on th 9th, demam tinggi betul. Terus shoot up. Went to the panel, dapat medicine, fever kurang sikit, but she vomitted. 4 to 5 times, that nite only. Dah vomit fever naik la balik, ubat ke mana apa ke mana. Then on the 10th, her fever naik balik, that nite, bawak pergi SMC (now known as KPJ Selangor) emergency, dr situ refer soh jumpa pakar the next day. Balik, B1 muntah2 lagi. Sabar2.. esok pi jumpa Dr Ling. (Her peads).
So the next day, gi la balik panel clinic, nak dapatkan refer letter, punya la susah nak bagi. I dont know why. The dr seems like blaming me not taking good care of the kids, sbb tu la selalu demam. I on the other hand feels like there's more to it than just a simple demam. I insisted on the letter, in which the dr said that B1 will have to be admitted because of dehydration (muntah2). I said OK. So dapat la refer letter yang diidam2kan. I want that refer letter so that the hospital can do total medical checkup, I want to rule out everything so that I can accept that B1 demam because of me. (But No Way la.. hehehe).Ok, back tu the story, the panel dr ambik temp B1 it was 38.1, so off to SMC to meet Dr Ling. Arrived there about 30 mins later, the nurse ambik temp and to my surprise (no la.. tak turun...) her temp naik to 40.4. Tekejut everybody, terus nurse bawak masuk bilik and boh ubat dlm b**t*t. Cepatnye temp naik. And as I expected, B1 must be admitted. Blood will be drawn, to rule out denggi, and urine to be cultured, to see the amount of protien.
We are entitled for a single bed room, but as expected also, no single bed room is available. We opt for double KIV single, WHAT?! double also tak dak? Ok la.. 4 bedded KIV single. Maka masuk la di bilik 201.

The same day, dapat single room. Ah lega, bukan mengelat ke apa ke.. 1 - sebab we are entitled.. so rugi la tak ambik kan. Kalau kena bayar sendiri Gomen aje la jawabnya. 2nd - sbb we are loud. Cakap sebatu blh dengar, and memang bising. Memang akan menganggu orang la. So Single bed better. So on friday we moved to 218. Memang berkampung abih... tengok le kalau tak caya.
Lega dapat masuk single room, sebab lepas tu Balqis start vomit balik. Dr dah stop antibiotik thinking she's ok dah, but the bacteria in her body act up again so muntah2 la. Terpaksa start balik antibiotik and if dia still vomit, drip kena pasang balik. Alhamdulillah lepas makan antibiotik (with the help of ubat tahan muntah) dia dah stop vomit. But another problem arise. Dia tak mau makan, takut muntah. The solution, anything she wants to eat. She was discharge on Sunday 14th September.Balqis was diagnosed with Bacteria infection because of Urinary tract infection, that's the reason for the on and off fever. Luckily it was not serious and tak effect her kidney.p/s - Saturday mlm Sunday, all (papa, mama, and adik) of us teman kakak dkt hospital. Happy Adik.
