April 27th - May 2nd...
Rushed back to Perlis after subuh, Grandma was admitted (26/4) because of her semi conscious condition, fractured hand bone and dislocate wrist. Result from a fall 3 days earlier. Almost everybody was there already. Seriously worried. Her condition was seriously bad.. and getting worse. But.. Alhamdulillah, her will to live is strong, she survives but still need TLC from her family. She's now recovering, able to move her body though still not being able to get up and about.

May 3rd - May 9th
Nothing much happened, still worried about my Grandma. The kids had a lot of works, for missing school for 4 days. The house was full of dust... and I'm down with terrible headache and almost catch the flu&fever that's been spreading around nowadays. So much to do, but not being able to do it is so frustrating.
May 10
Mothers Day. I dont celebrate mothers day, meaning I dont make a big deal about it. I also believe that everyday should be mothers day. But sometimes... when we think of it.. do we really do something special to our mom everyday? Because I didn't... if I did, my mom would think I've got something up my sleeves and would be asking me.. 'Yes, What u want?, just tell me what is it that u really want'. Duh.. :)
So I think Mothers day and Birthdays.. we can celebrate.. in moderation la. Not buat party all nite long, dancing here and there etc etc. Just have a simple get together among family members (in fact it is a very good excuse to gather all family members and to spend time together besides Raya) and some food to eat.
How many times have you heard from your mom, 'You dont have to give me anything for Mothers Day.. or for my Birthday'?. Of course they'll say that. That's what being a mother is all about. But if you really do something about it, like create a handmade card, buy 3 for 20cents sweets or even pick a flower in your own yard and give it to your mom, I'm very very very sure that your mom will feel so grateful and delighted when they receive it.
Last year my kids dragged their father to the bakery to buy me a cake for mothers day. My hubby cooked roti John and mushroom soup form us. It was fun, having a feast with your family and you dont have to cook.. yeay.. hehehe (It's a big deal when you're a stay at home mom)
This year, it's something different. We still have the cake, a homemade one... (the kids paksa their aunties to bake a cake for me.. hahaha). Yummy.. and the kids did handmade cards and bookmarks for me, and the wordings was really touchy.. *muah* Sayang anak2 mama ni. My hubby made strawberry mousse and it was delicious. After having the cake we went to Jeram again. For dinner.. Had a great time.
The cake, comot2.. tapi sinfully sedap...
The cards yang dapat... anak 2 aje.. hehehe.
Balqis dapat free mothers day card from TGV KLCC before so dia guna ajela
